As we leap into a brand new year, the Dominion Trail Elementary School PTA extends warm greetings and good wishes to all our incredible students, dedicated parents, and supportive community members. It’s time to kick off 2024 with enthusiasm, energy, and a range of exciting opportunities for our school community.
Talent Show Sign-Up Open!
Calling all budding stars and performers! The much-awaited Talent Show sign-up is now live. Students eager to showcase their talents can register at talentshow.dtespta.org. Auditions are scheduled for Monday, January 29th, at 3:00 PM. Remember, a parent or guardian must accompany the student. All acts, from music to dance, magic to comedy, are warmly welcomed!
Dress Rehearsal and Final Show
Mark your calendars! The dress rehearsal is set to take place during an all-school assembly on Friday, February 2nd. Then, the grand finale of the Talent Show will be on the same day at 6:00 PM in the DTES gym. Join us to celebrate and cheer for our incredibly talented students!
PTA Meeting & Follow-Up Friday
Our PTA plays a vital role in shaping the school experience. Join us for our upcoming PTA meeting on Tuesday, January 9th, at 7:00 PM in the DTES library. Streaming options are available at stream.dtespta.org for those unable to attend in person.
Can’t make it Tuesday night? Don’t worry! You can catch up during Follow-Up Friday on January 12th at 8:30 AM in the DTES cafeteria.

🔍 POSITION: Volunteer Assembly Coordinator
💻 Work from Home Opportunity!
🕒 Time Commitment: Less than 5 hours a week
✨ Responsibilities:
– Source 1-2 engaging educational assemblies for our students.
– Obtain quotes and collaborate with the PTA board for approval.
– Coordinate with the school administration to ensure the subject matter aligns with our educational goals.
– Set up a date with the chosen company for the assembly to captivate our students.
🔍 POSITION: Grant Application Coordinator
💻 Work from Home Opportunity!
🕒 Time Commitment: Less than 5 hours a week
✨ Responsibilities:
– Research and explore available grant opportunities aligned with our organization’s mission and needs.
– Assist in preparing and completing grant applications accurately and efficiently.
