My name is Bob Scheidler and I have two daughters, Sofia and Sabrina, who will both attend DTES this upcoming school year. I am a Pittsburgh native, Penn State University graduate who moved to Virginia in 2006 and currently own a construction business here in Northern Virginia. I got involved in the PTA to meet other parents and faculty. After one meeting, I was so impressed with everybody here at DTES that I looked for every opportunity to get involved and help more. I currently lead the garden committee and the students/ staff are just so amazing that when I learned the PTA board had an open position, I was happy to volunteer to work with this great team.

Syreeta volunteers with several local & national organizations. She also enjoys spending time with her husband (Charles), daughter (Sydney a DTES kindergartner), and two yorkiepoos (Maxwell & McKenzie). Outside of her family life, Syreeta holds an MBA and B.S. in Computer Science and spends her time providing project management & engineering services to clients.

Hi, I am Amy Reabe! My husband Jason and I have two daughters: Carriann is 6 and will be in first grade at DTES in the fall, and Emma is 2 years old. I’m a Virginia Tech grad and originally from the Richmond area, but I moved to Loudoun for work over 15 years ago. My family is very happy to be part of the Dominion Trail community, and I’m excited to contribute what I can to the PTA board!

I’m Matt and I will be entering my second term as Treasurer. Along with managing the finances I actively manage/develop the PTA’s tech solutions, store, and website. My daughter will be in 4th grade for the 2022-2023 school year.I enjoy positively contributing to the DTES community to ensure a fun and welcoming atmosphere for our kids! Outside of DTES I am an IT Manager/Tax Professional, and hold degrees in GIS/Spatial Statistics, Computer Science, and Computer Information Systems.

My name is Ashleigh Curtis. I have two daughters at Dominion Trail. One will be going into 4th grade and one will be going into 2nd for the 2022-2023 school year. I’ve been an active part of the PTA since my oldest was in pre-k and I love being able to make the school experience the best it can be for our kids!

Though I just finished my term as President, I wanted to stay connected and involved with the PTA. Being a full time working parent, it’s difficult to balance everything. So I’m happy to stay “board-adjacent” and assist with communications (Facebook posts, Trail Talks, member emails, etc) so our hard-working board can concentrate on all the other important parts of running the PTA. I’m also going to be the After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) coordinator for the upcoming school year.
For those new to the PTA, my name is Meghan Aloshen. I’m originally from Cleveland, Ohio. My husband, Chris, and I moved to Virginia in 2007 and settled in Ashburn in 2015. We have two boys: Malcolm is almost 8 and is finishing 2nd grade with Mrs. Weltens, and Simon is 4 and starting Pre-K in the fall at The Compass School. I’m a professional graphic designer and work as a production manager for an association’s monthly magazine. I truly love this community and am so thankful that our boys are growing up here. I’m happy to help assist however I can to make elementary school a wonderful time for our students!
